There are many ways to get involved with Whitstable Carnival Association. Attend one of our events, become a member, or volunteer your time. We'd love to have you on board! Just scan the QR code for more information
- Stewarding the carnival, standing at junctions on route, supervising the parade coming through
- Help with setting up/striking down the Carnival
- Wearing a big head or fish in the parade
- Join our committee/ plan our events
- Have a float in the Carnival

What to do on the day
Arrive 1 to 2 hours before the Carnival starts at 1730.
Park your float up, if you have one, on Northwood Road or Pier Avenue.
Whether you have done an entry form or are a last minute entry, make your way to our HQ at 17 Pier Ave.
There you will be given a number to indicate where you will be in the procession.
It is important to stick to this, as we carefully plan for noise etc , so people don't drown each other out!
There will be people there to guide you and help you get in the right place.
The Carnival will move off from Pier Ave at 1730.
Late arrivals will always go at the end of the procession.
